The Tivoli opened on September 22, 1949 and was Jasper Place's first Cinema. Showing mostly first run films, it later served starting in 1959 for Gaby Haas's local radio show and weekly dances then finally in 1970, as Pastor Max Solbrekken's Edmonton Revival House.
