From Periscope Films, this 1967 documentary by the Bechtel Corporation on the Athabasca Oil Sands is an interesting period piece, but briefly from :40-1:30 gives a great overhead panoramic shot looking west from Jasper Ave and roughly 100th street, while going to the sidewalks and giving us a peak at foot traffic before getting into the meat of the documentary. The old Edmonton Journal Building, McDougal Church, the then-new Chateau Lacombe, and the Tegler Building all make appearances:
