Another Super8mm film of Edmonton in 1969 (this time by Don Meier), this film starts from the Gold Bar neighbourhood, then driving into around Downtown Edmonton before returning to Gold Bar, and a Christmas celebration.
Though the film is not as clear as the other 1969 film posted recently, it shows in rapid-fire detail a great deal of the area, including the old CR tracks, the then-new City Hall, and various shots on heritage buildings.
Well worth a look:
