A really cool find from @cdncountryvideo on YouTube. This set from the venerable Canadian band Blue Rodeo for the show On Stage was recorded by CFRN-TV at Horizon Stage in Spruce Grove in November 1990 and is all kinds of fun.
The band was in town to play a sold-out show at The U of A's Dinwiddie Lounge touring for the just released Casino LP and is in fine form; the show is hosted by Edmonton radio DJ Wes Arden.
There's little in the archives or on the internet about the show "On Stage"; if anyone has any recollections of the show or taping itself as the kids say, hit me up:
